Go to the shopThese Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase of furniture and related services fromIDEAL HOME, a furniture showroom operating in the State of Qatar. By making a purchase fromIDEAL HOME, whether in-store or online, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
IDEAL HOME is a furniture showroom specializing in high-quality furniture products and related
services for customers in Qatar and the surrounding region. We are committed to providing
exceptional furniture, professional service, and complete customer satisfaction.
By purchasing from IDEAL HOME, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If purchasing on behalf of an organization, you confirm authority to bind that organization. You must be at least 18 years of age to make purchases; those under 18 may only purchase under parental or guardian supervision who agrees to these Terms.
IDEAL HOME reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms are effective immediately upon posting on our website or display in our showroom. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
Product Information: All furniture descriptions, specifications, and images are provided for general information purposes. While we strive for accuracy, colors displayed on screens may vary from actual products due to monitor settings. Dimensions and specifications are approximate and may vary slightly.
Pricing: All prices are displayed in Qatari Riyals (QAR) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at purchase confirmation. In case of pricing errors, IDEAL HOME reserves the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.
Product Availability: Furniture availability is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit purchase quantities. If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you and offer a refund or alternative product.
Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring purchased furniture will fit in your intended space. We recommend measuring doorways, stairways, elevators, and room dimensions before purchasing. IDEAL HOME is not responsible for products that do not fit due to inaccurate customer measurements.
Order Placement: Orders can be placed in-store, by phone, or online (if available). An order is confirmed when you receive order confirmation from IDEAL HOME. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfers, and other payment methods displayed at the time of purchase. Full payment is required at purchase unless otherwise agreed. For credit/debit card payments, we may pre-authorise your card to verify funds. We reserve the right to refuse payment if we cannot verify information or suspect fraudulent activity.
Invoicing: An invoice will be issued for every purchase. You must retain your invoice for delivery, returns, warranty claims, and other purposes. Invoices cannot be modified after issuance.
Free Storage: IDEAL HOME provides free storage for purchased furniture for sixty (60) days from the purchase date. This allows you time to arrange delivery or collection at your convenience.
Extended Storage: If you require storage beyond 14 days, you may extend for an additional Fourteen (14) days, subject to a daily fee of 0.15% of invoice value. Extended storage fees must be paid before collection or delivery.
Maximum Storage: The total maximum storage period (free + extended) is ninety (90) days. If items are not collected or delivered within 90 days, IDEAL HOME reserves the right to cancel the invoice, forfeit your right to claim the goods, charge storage fees retroactively, and deduct unpaid fees from any refund.
Storage Terms: Goods remain IDEAL HOME's property until fully paid and collected. We are not liable for damage to stored goods beyond reasonable care. You must notify us at least 48 hours before intended collection or delivery.
Delivery Coverage: IDEAL HOME provides delivery services throughout Qatar. Availability and charges depend on the distance from our showroom.
Delivery Charges:
• Free Delivery: Orders with an invoice value of QAR 1,000 or more within Doha and the surrounding areas
• Paid Delivery: For orders below QAR 1,000 or outside the free delivery zone
Delivery Scheduling: Delivery dates are scheduled based on availability and confirmed with you. Timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. You must be present or arrange an authorised representative. If unavailable at the scheduled time, a redelivery fee equal to the original delivery charge applies.
Rescheduling: To reschedule delivery, contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled date. Rescheduling is subject to availability. Failure to reschedule or be present may result in additional
charges. Installation includes assembly of furniture per the manufacturer's specifications. Installation does not include wall mounting, electrical work, or property modifications.
Delivery Limitations: IDEAL HOME is not responsible if products cannot be delivered due to narrow doorways, stairways, elevators, restricted property access, or special equipment requirements (e.g., cranes). If special equipment is required, additional charges apply and must be arranged by you.
Risk Transfer: Risk of loss and title to products pass to you upon delivery and acceptance. You must inspect products upon delivery and report any damage or defects immediately. IDEAL HOME is not responsible for damage or loss after you accept delivery.
Return Period: You may return eligible products within fourteen (14) days of delivery or collection. Returns must be requested within this period; late requests will not be accepted.
Return Conditions: Products must be unused, unworn, and in original condition with original packaging intact and undamaged, all tags and labels attached, original invoice provided, and no signs of assembly, installation, or alteration.
Non-Returnable Items: The following cannot be returned: mattresses, bed linens, pillows, towels, and hygiene-sensitive products; custom-made, personalized, or special-order furniture; assembled or installed furniture; sale items, clearance items, or last-piece items; gift cards and vouchers; promotional campaign products (unless defective); products damaged due to misuse; and products without original packaging or tags.
Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of QAR 250 or 10% of invoice value (whichever is lower) will be deducted from refunds for returned items in original, unopened packaging.
Defective Products: Report defective products within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery. Defects must be manufacturing defects, not damage from misuse. We will inspect the product and offer replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion. Items inspected and accepted at the showroom before delivery are not eligible for defect returns.
Return Methods: You can return products by visiting our showroom with the product, invoice, and
original packaging; scheduling a pickup (may take 3-5 business days); or rejecting delivery at the time
of delivery.
Refund Processing: Card payments refunded to the original card within fifteen (15) business days after verification. Cash payments are provided as store credit or bank transfer within fifteen (15) business days. IDEAL HOME is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.
Exchanges: We do not offer direct exchanges. To exchange a product, return it for a refund and place a new order.
Manufacturer's Warranty: All furniture comes with the manufacturer's standard warranty. Warranty terms vary by product and manufacturer. Warranty covers manufacturing defects only, not wear and tear or misuse.
IDEAL HOME Warranty: We provide warranty service for one (1) year from the delivery date for products installed by us. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Warranty is void if products are transported after initial installation, installed or repaired by non-IDEAL HOME personnel, or damaged due to misuse, accidents, or negligence.
Warranty Claims: Contact customer service with your invoice and defect details. We will inspect the product within three (3) business days. At our discretion, we will repair or replace the defective product. Spare parts required for repairs are at the customer's expense.
Exclusions: Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, outdoor furniture (unless explicitly covered), products taken outside Qatar, damage from improper use or maintenance, or damage from environmental factors.
You must provide accurate information when placing orders and ensure delivery addresses are correct. IDEAL HOME is not liable for delivery failures due to incorrect information. You must inspect products upon delivery and report issues immediately. Failure to report at delivery may void return or warranty rights. You must ensure adequate property access for delivery and installation and are responsible for protecting floors, walls, and property during delivery. Any products requiring wall mounting are your responsibility unless explicitly included in our service.
Customer Cancellations: You may cancel an order within seven (7) days of purchase if products have not been delivered or collected. Cancellations after delivery are subject to our Returns Policy. Contact customer service with your invoice number to cancel. Full refunds provided for cancellations within 7 days before delivery. If products have been prepared for delivery, a cancellation fee may apply. Refunds processed within fifteen (15) business days.
IDEAL HOME Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel orders if products are no longer available, pricing or product information was incorrect, we cannot verify payment information, or we suspect fraudulent activity. We will notify you and provide a full refund.
IDEAL HOME's total liability for any claim arising from your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including loss of profits, loss of use, or business interruption. IDEAL HOME is not liable for damage caused by misuse, accidents, or negligence; damage after delivery and acceptance; delays due to factors beyond our control; products that do not fit your space due to incorrect measurements; or damage to property during delivery unless caused by our negligence.
Force Majeure: IDEAL HOME shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, strikes, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, or telecommunications failures.
All content on our website, marketing materials, and showroom displays including text, images, logos, and designs are owned by or licensed to IDEAL HOME. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission. "IDEAL HOME" and our logo are trademarks. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Qatar courts. If you have a complaint, contact our customer service team. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve your complaint amicably. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may pursue legal remedies under Qatar law.
