Refund & Return Policy

At IDEAL HOME, your satisfaction with your furniture purchase is our priority. We understand thatsometimes products may not meet your expectations. This Return Policy outlines the conditions,procedures, and timeframes for returning furniture purchased from IDEAL HOME.

1 Return Eligibility Period

Standard Returns: You may return eligible furniture within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of delivery or collection. The return period begins on the day you receive or collect the product. Returns requested after 14 days will not be accepted, except for warranty claims.
Defective Products: Defective or damaged furniture must be reported within seventy-two (72) hours of delivery. After 72 hours, defective items may only be eligible for warranty service, not return. Items inspected and accepted at our showroom before delivery are not eligible for defect returns.

2 Return Conditions

To be eligible for return, furniture must meet ALL of the following conditions:
Product Condition: Unused and unworn with no signs of use, in original condition as received, not assembled or installed, not modified, cut, or altered, and clean and undamaged (free from stains, tears, scratches, or other damage).
Packaging Requirements: Product must be returned in original packaging, with boxes, wrapping, and protective materials undamaged, all parts, accessories, hardware, and instructions included, and all original tags, labels, and barcodes attached.
Documentation: You must provide the original purchase invoice or receipt, invoice must match the product being returned, and return form must be properly completed (if applicable).
Additional Requirements: Products must be returned within the applicable return period, must not fall under non-returnable categories, and customer must comply with the return process.

3 Non-Returnable Items

For health, safety, hygiene, and quality reasons, the following items CANNOT BE RETURNED OR
EXCHANGED:
Hygiene-Sensitive Products: Mattresses (all types including foam, spring, orthopedic), bed linens (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases once unwrapped), pillows (all types and cushion inserts), towels and bath linens (once unwrapped), and upholstered items with removable fabric (if protective
packaging removed).
Assembled or Installed Products: Assembled furniture (any furniture assembled or partially assembled), installed items (products installed, mounted, or affixed), wall-mounted items, and builtin furniture.
Special Order Items: Custom-made products (furniture made to custom specifications), personalized items (products with monograms, engravings, or custom finishes), special orders (items ordered specifically for you not part of regular inventory), and made-to-order items.
Sale and Promotional Items: Clearance items (products marked as clearance or final sale), last-piece items (display models or last pieces in stock), store display items (ex-display or floor models sold at reduced prices), damage discount items, and promotional campaign items (unless defective).
Other Non-Returnable Items: Gift cards and vouchers, outdoor furniture, products assembled by non-IDEAL HOME personnel, products taken outside Qatar, and products damaged by customer misuse, accidents, or negligence.

4 Restocking Fee

A restocking fee will be deducted from your refund for eligible returns to cover handling, inspection, and restocking costs. The fee is QAR 250 OR 10% of the original purchase price, whichever is lower. The restocking fee applies to products returned in original, unopened packaging and is nonrefundable.
Exemptions: Restocking fees do not apply to defective or damaged products (reported within 72 hours), products that do not match description or specifications, delivery rejections, or warranty claims.

5 Defective or Damaged Products

Reporting Defects: If you receive defective or damaged furniture, report it within 48 hours of delivery. Contact IDEAL HOME customer service immediately with your invoice number, description of the defect or damage, and photos of the defect (if requested).
Inspection Process: IDEAL HOME will arrange to inspect the product within 3-5 business days. Our team will verify whether the issue is a manufacturing defect or damage caused by misuse. You must allow access for inspection.
Resolution Options: At IDEAL HOME's discretion, we will offer replacement (exchange the defective product for a new one), repair (repair the defect at no cost), or refund (full refund of purchase price).
Exclusions: Defect claims will not be accepted if the product was inspected and accepted at our showroom before delivery, the defect is caused by misuse, accidents, or improper care, the product shows signs of assembly by non-IDEAL HOME personnel, or the defect is a result of normal wear and tear.

6 Return Process

Option 1: Return to Showroom
Visit IDEAL HOME showroom with the product, original packaging, and invoice. Our staff will inspect the product and verify it meets return conditions. You will receive an acknowledgment receipt. Best for smaller furniture items.
Option 2: Schedule a Pickup
Call IDEAL HOME customer service and provide your invoice number and reason for return. Schedule a pickup date (pickup may take 3-5 business days). Our courier will collect the product and provide an acknowledgment receipt. Best for large furniture items.
Option 3: Reject Delivery
If you decide not to accept the product at time of delivery, inform the delivery team. The product will be returned to our warehouse. No restocking fee applies for delivery rejections.
Return Packaging: Products must be returned in original packaging. If original packaging is unavailable, contact customer service for guidance. Ensure products are securely wrapped to prevent damage during transit. You are responsible for proper packaging.
Return Acknowledgement: Upon receiving your return, IDEAL HOME will provide an acknowledgement receipt. Keep this receipt for your records. Refunds will be processed after inspection and verification (3-5 business days).

7 Refunds

Refund Methods:
• Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunds are credited to the original card within 15 business days from return verification. Timing may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
• Bank Transfer Payments: Refunds are credited to the original bank account within 15 business days.
Refund Calculation: Your refund equals the purchase price of returned product(s) minus restocking fee (if applicable), minus delivery charges (if product was delivered), adjusted for promotional discounts (if applicable).
Promotional Adjustments: If your order included promotional discounts, free items, or bundle offers, returning part of the order may affect the promotional discount. Promotional discounts may be recalculated or removed. Free items received as part of a promotion must also be returned.
Partial Returns: If you return only some items from an order, the refund will be calculated proportionally. Delivery charges and restocking fees will be adjusted accordingly.
Refund Timeline: Inspection and verification take 3-5 business days after return receipt. Refund processing takes 15 business days after verification. Bank processing may require additional time. IDEAL HOME is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, or card issuers.


8 Exchanges

IDEAL HOME does not offer direct product exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product for a different item, you must return the original product for a refund (subject to this Return Policy) and place a new order for the desired product. Availability of alternative products is not guaranteed.

9 Cancellations

Before Delivery: You may cancel your order within 7 days of purchase if the furniture has not been delivered or collected. Contact IDEAL HOME customer service with your invoice number. Full refund provided (no restocking fee).
After Delivery: Once products have been delivered or collected, cancellations are subject to this Return Policy. Standard return conditions and restocking fees apply.
IDEAL HOME Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel orders if products are no longer available, pricing errors occurred, we cannot verify payment information, or we suspect fraudulent activity. We will notify you promptly and provide a full refund.

10 Warranty Claims

Warranty Coverage: All furniture comes with the manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing defects. IDEAL HOME provides an additional 1-year warranty service for products installed by us.
Making a Claim: Warranty claims can be made after the 14-day return period. Contact customer service with your invoice and description of the issue. We will inspect the product within 3 business days. At our discretion, we will repair or replace the defective product.
Exclusions: Warranty claims are not valid for normal wear and tear, products transported or moved after initial installation, products assembled or repaired by non-IDEAL HOME personnel, damage from misuse, accidents, or negligence, outdoor furniture, or products taken outside Qatar.
Spare Parts: Spare parts required for warranty repairs are at the customer's expense. We will provide an estimate before proceeding.

11 Customer Responsibilities

You must inspect furniture upon delivery and report any damage or defects immediately. Failure toreport issues at delivery may void return rights. You are responsible for the proper care and handlingof products during the return period. Products must be kept in their original condition andpackaging. You must provide accurate information when requesting a return. False or misleading information may result in the denial of your return request.

For showroom returns, you are responsible for transporting the product to our showroom. Forpickups, IDEAL HOME will arrange collection at no additional charge.

12 Limitations

IDEAL HOME reserves the right to accept or refuse any return at our sole discretion. We may refuse returns that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy. Items marked as "Final Sale," "No Returns," or similar are not eligible for return and are sold as-is. Products that have been modified, altered, or repaired by third parties are not eligible for return. IDEAL HOME is not responsible for delays in processing returns or refunds due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

14 Governing Law

This Return Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from returns, refunds, or this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Qatar courts.
